Doug Sohn, owner of famed Chicago hot dog shop Hot Doug's, made a surprise announcement today that the restaurant will close its doors permanently in October. Eater Chicago gathered reactions from the local food community and here's what restaurateur Kevin Boehm had to say: "Few people in this world go out on top. Jerry Seinfeld, Rocky Marciano and Doug Sohn! Sad that he is going but I'm sure his next adventure will be equally great." [Eater Chicago]
