Former child actor Macaulay Culkin and his band the Pizza Underground — a group that does pizza-themed covers of songs from the Velvet Underground — were recently booed off stage at a venue in Nottingham, England. According to the Nottingham Post, the band was performing a set as part of the Dot to Dot festival but audience members started to jeer and pelt the group with "full pints of beer." Culkin apparently stayed calm and told the booze-chucking audience, "Why are you throwing those? I'd rather drink them!" However, the beer throwing did not stop and Culkin and the rest of the group stormed off stage just 15 minutes into their set. No matter how bad the music was, it was a pretty harsh reaction from the crowd considering that the band had handed out fresh slices of pizza.
