Here's a new Tumblr that is dedicated to tracking "New York's downfall" or retail locations in the city that have been converted into frozen yogurt shops. It's appropriately called And Now It's a Fucking Fro-Yo Place. The website posts images of what shops used to be, before showing the frozen yogurt store that now stands in its place ("It was a photo shop…and now it's a fucking fro-yo place!") What is most shocking is the range of independent businesses — salons, restaurants, pet stores, florists — that have all been converted into cookie-cutter frozen yogurt places with the same bright neon coloring.
