Watch Steve Hindy's Talk on the Craft Beer Revolution

Brooklyn Brewery co-founder Steve Hindy recently stopped by the Talks at Google series to give a lecture based on his new book The Craft Beer Revolution. Though he's obviously an expert on the build-out of Brooklyn Brewery, Hindy says he was able to "watch the development of this industry close-up," exploring the contributions by the likes of founding fathers Fritz Maytag (of San Francisco's Anchor Brewing Company) and Jack McAuliffe (of California's New Albion Brewing, a project that was "doomed from the beginning").

From that first class of early pioneers, others emerged, including the brewers that would go on to found New Belgium, Deschutes, and Dogfish Head. Wanna learn about American craft beer history in less than an hour? Go, watch:
