Turns out the paychecks of Steve Ells and Montgomery Moran, co-chief executives of Chipotle, are like the burritos they sell: super-sized. Since 2011 they each made more than $100 million "on top of their [multimillion dollar] salaries through a complex mix of stock awards." Their compensation has made shareholders very "uneasy" and according to Reuters, at a vote today Chipotle "failed to win a majority of shareholder support for its executive pay."
