Dominique Ansel to Unleash Free Nutella Cronut Holes

Two mega line-inducing foods —the Cronut and Nutella — are coming together to create the ultimate novelty item, the Nutella Cronut Hole. According to a spokesperson, the special Cronut holes were created for the celebration of the chocolate hazelnut spread's 50th Anniversary. Cronut creator Dominique Ansel and the folks behind Nutella will give away the mini treat away for free on May 19. Eater NY notes the event will take place right outside of Eataly, the Italian grocery store and home of the recently opened Nutella Bar. The event runs from 10 a.m to 2 p.m., so it's safe to expect that people will probably start lining up unreasonably early.
