Chef Rolls Out This Week; Music City Food + Wine Fest

VARIOUS LOCATIONS— Director Jon Favreau's fairly well-received movie Chef will start rolling out into theaters this week: According to Favreau, the film will first hit theaters in New York, LA, San Francisco, San Diego, Philadelphia, DC, Chicago, Miami, Phoenix, Boston, and Dallas, with more cities added next week. In Los Angeles, chef Roy Choi's new hotspot Pot will host a Chef party on Thursday, May 15, featuring a signature sandwich from the film. [@Jon_Favreau]

NASHVILLE— The festival formerly known as Music City Eats has re-branded as Music City Food + Wine Festival, and organizers have revealed the line-up for the 2014 installment, scheduled for September 20 and 21. Chefs like Jonathan Waxman, Sean Brock, Ashley Christensen, and Tim Love are confirmed; the music lineup will announced later this summer. Tickets are available now. [Eater Nashville]
