Here's some feel good receipt news: A Japanese restaurant in Calgary, Canada offered a family a $5 discount for their "well behaved kids." Reddit user "looseONtheGoose" posted an image of the receipt from Carino Japanese Bistro writing that they received the discount after going out for brunch on Mother's Day with their one year-old daughter. Mother's Day is notorious for dining nightmares, so the kind receipt is a nice switch-up.

This isn't the first time a restaurant has offered a family a discount for their well behaved kids. Last year, Sogno Di Vino, a restaurant in Poulsbo, Washington, gave a woman a $4 discount for her kids' good behavior. Unfortunately, restaurants have also used receipts to insult customers and their kids: Last year a server at Friendly's Sports Bar Grill in St. Louis left a not so friendly addition on the bill writing that the order came with a side of "f*ckin needy kids." Eater has reached out to Carino Japanese Bistro for comment.
