2014 Daytime Emmy Awards Nominations Announced

The 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Award Nominations were announced today (see the full list in a pdf) with plenty of culinary programs getting nods. Food Network drummed up five nominations (dropping from 10 last year) while Cooking Channel got four nominations. PBS's The Mind of Chef garnered a whopping seven nominations this year, including ones for "Outstanding Culinary Program" and "Outstanding Culinary Host" (chefs April Bloomfield and Sean Brock).

Giada De Laurentiis has five nominations split across two of her shows Giada in Paradise and Giada at Home and Bobby Flay's show Bobby Flay's Barbecue Addiction has been nominated again, this time for two Emmys. The Chew is up against the likes of Dr. Phil and The Dr. Oz Show for "Outstanding Talk Show/Informative." And Rachael Ray is up for "Outstanding Talk Show" and "Outstanding Talk Show Host."
