AUDIO INTERLUDE— Here's a summer-appropriate soundtrack: Jon Favreau's upcoming food truck film Chef features a soundtrack designed to "mirror the road trip" taken in the film, and it's now available to stream (track by track) courtesy Milan Records. Expect a mash-up of reggae, New Orleans brass band, and hip-hop tracks — plus album liner notes and recipes by Roy Choi — when the album drops May 6. Go, give it a listen. [SoundCloud]

LUMMI ISLAND— Barcelona chef/restaurateur Albert Adrià will visit Washington's Lummi Island to cook a one-off dinner at the storied Willows Inn. As part of his annual First Harvest dinner series, Willows chef Blaine Wetzel will join Adrià and San Francisco's Joshua Skenes in the kitchen; an early press release promises more names will be added to the Harvest, scheduled for July 23 and 24.
