Tosi, Chang, Stupak, and Others Join the Mystery Log Video Campaign

Hillary Dixler Canavan is Eater's restaurant editor and the author of the publication's debut book, Eater: 100 Essential Restaurant Recipes From the Authority on Where to Eat and Why It Matters (Abrams, September 2023). Her work focuses on dining trends and the people changing the industry — and scouting the next hot restaurant you need to try on Eater's annual Best New Restaurant list.

Here now are even more videos of chefs holding logs as part of a mystery campaign that kicked off late last week and includes chefs like Daniel Boulud and René Redzepi. Among the big name chefs getting in on the Twin Peaks-inspired action today include David Chang (Momofuku, NYC) and Christina Tosi (Momofuku Milk Bar, NYC) who do Alex Stupak (Empellon, NYC) and Magnus Nilsson (Faviken, Sweden). There's still no word as to what the point of these videos is (probably to promote an event like the often-bizarre Gelinaz?) and the Twitter hashtag #logladies is still pretty quiet. Go, watch the latest videos:
