Around 150 people were mistakenly charged thousands of dollars for their orders at a location of Mexican fast food chain Del Taco in Santa Paula, a suburb of Los Angeles. The AP reveals that a customer noticed that he had been charged $4,050 for "for one CrunchTada Pizza and two beef tacos" when he attempted to withdraw $20 from the ATM but was denied. According to CBS Los Angeles, other customers have reported other outrageous charges such as $2,000 for a soda and $10,220 for $10.20 worth of tacos. A Del Taco spokesperson attributed the overcharges to a glitch in the computers that deal with credit card and ATM transactions and that the money would be refunded.
