The donkey sauce returns: Eater Vegas has the first look at the menu for Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar, the just-opened Las Vegas restaurant by the mayor of Flavortown, America. As promised, there's a global fusion influence: The "shareables" section alone offers menu items like Guy-talian Fondue Dippers (from Guytaly, obviously), Los Nachos Del Jefe, and Sashimi Won-Tacos (with "wow-sabi" cream). There are separate sections dedicated to Guy's Fries and "Greens & Chilli Beans": The latter includes Guy's Dragon Breath Chilli [sic] and a Deli Salad served inside a "crown" made of prosciutto-wrapped smoked provolone.
The section devoted to hamburgers promises "burger nirvana," while the "Ain't Nothing Butta Chicken Wing..." menu section is a major upgrade from that at Guy's American Kitchen & Bar in New York City; it offers one version of wings that are "certainly not for the faint of heart & should probably be illegal." (Other wings arrive with an "apocalyptic marinara" dipping sauce.) Unlike the NYC menu, there is no pasta available in Las Vegas, but donkey sauce does make an appearance atop a Triple B Burger and a Pic-a-Nik turkey sandwich. Dessert includes an ominous-sounding "Cheesecake Challenge" featuring a "mountain of cheesecake" and a fried ice cream sundae promising a "build your own sundae brouhaha." Go, read the whole thing over on Eater Vegas.
