Here are two videos from Food Network host Alton Brown's new web series Cook Smart. Brown has hinted on Facebook that a version of his popular Food Network show Good Eats would return in some point in a different format, and this series appears to be just that. His recently launched YouTube channel features mini webisodes shot in a very similar manner to Good Eats including cooking tips presented with scientific backing.
The first episode shows Brown craftily creating a caddy for his nearly empty mustard bottles out of an egg carton. The second episode, titled Alton Brown's Oven Eggs, features Brown cooking up a batch of hardboiled eggs using nothing more than a towel and an oven. No word yet on what subjects future episodes will cover, but Brown did tweet this bloody teaser. Go, watch:
