After several delays, Central Park's iconic restaurant Tavern on the Green is set to re-open April 24 under new management, and Eater NY has a look inside what it's calling a "slimmed down and softened up" space. Philadelphia restaurateurs Jim Caiola and David Salama have replaced the Tavern's famous chandeliers and white tablecloths with dark wood and plush red banquettes, and an early look at chef Katy Sparks' menu reveals sections for ceviches, hearth-fired and grilled small and large plates, and chilled seafood.
