Restaurateurs Tim and Nancy Cushman may be opening a New York City outpost of their essential Boston restaurant O Ya, reports Eater Boston. According to their "sources in New York" the Cushmans will open an O Ya within NYC's Park South Hotel as well as "separate hotel restaurant." The same tipsters also note that Ted Kilpatrick, an alum of Boston chef Barbara Lynch's No. 9 Park, will helm the projects and that he is "already onsite." Kilpatrick's current Twitter bio reads: "Recent transplant, Boston to New York. Opening a couple of bars in a hotel in midtown."

Still things are speculative. Eater NY notes that while the Cushmans, Kilpatrick, and the hotel "have yet to confirm any details." Eater's chief critic and data lead Ryan Sutton, reviewed the Boston restaurant early this year for Bloomberg. Eater Boston points out that O Ya isn't the first Boston restaurant to expand to NYC. Spanish restaurant Toro "has been drawing in huge crowds since its opening in September" and plenty of critical acclaim.
