Wine critic/point awarder Robert Parker is creating a magazine. Last week Wine-Searcher.com reported that Parker was launching a quarterly luxury lifestyle magazine and today Eater gets confirmation that this is indeed happening.
The statement from Hubert Burda Media below reveals that the company is partnering with The Wine Advocate by Robert Parker to create 100 Points by Robert Parker. Targeting a readership of "HNWIs and corporate leaders," the magazine will place "a strong emphasis on a main article to deliver depth of information in a well-curated reader offering, complemented by essential service elements." Per Wine-Searcher.com, the magazine will be launching in June and will cover "lifestyle products, services and experiences." 100 Points will apparently cover but not evaluate wine, and The Wine Advocate will remain unchanged.
