Here's a video of chef/Institute of Culinary Education creative director Michael Laiskonis making Vietnamese apple kebabs as he mans the IBM Food Truck at SXSW this week. The truck creates dishes using computer-generated recipes and dishes are then voted on by the public. This kebab recipe, which unconventionally combines strawberries, mushrooms, pineapple, pork, apples, curry, green onion, and chicken, came out on top. Laiskonis notes that he was expecting ingredients "like lamb, and something like zucchini," items that "could be skewered on to a stick" and was quite surprised when the recipe called for none of those. The truck is now live in Austin, so follow IBM's Twitter feed to see where you can try the computer-generated creations.
