Actress Mary-Louise Parker is getting into the food television game. Well, maybe. Deadline reports that the Weeds star is on board to star in an NBC pilot Feed Me, a single camera comedy that got its pilot order in February.
The show is described as "a comedic exploration of adult intimacy and desire" that focuses on a family that runs a restaurant together. It's written by Sally Robinson (Steel Magnolias, Lifetime) and is produced by Paul Junger Witt and Tony Thomas. No word yet on when the Feed Me pilot might air. Feed Me isn't the only food-related series to on the NBC radar. Back in September the network bought a pilot inspired by "teen chef" Flynn McGarry.
