Last week tech writer Sarah Slocum got attacked at a San Francisco bar for wearing Google Glass — she called it a "hate crime" — and she's now uh leveraging her disruption by asking for free trips. She tweeted: "It would be awesome if @Google would sponsor my trip to @sxsw so I can formally continue to help educate the public about @googleglass #sxsw." Maybe her creepy privacy-invading nerd trophy will get her kicked out of Austin bars, too? [Twitter via Valleywag][Photo: Flickr]
