In December, Girona, Spain's three Michelin-starred El Celler de Can Roca announced they'd be hitting the road on their Roca&Roll World Tour 2014. Today's Wall Street Journal has details: up this summer are stops in Mexico City, Lima, Medellin and "if all goes well" New York City. Stops in 2015 may include Istanbul, Houston, and Santiago.
Chefs are no longer interested in keeping their restaurants chained to just one city any more, it seems: both René Redzepi and Heston Blumenthal have recently announced their taking their restaurants to Tokyo and Melbourne, respectively, for extended pop-ups.
