It's not a thing that actually exists quite yet, but Pizza Hut recently teamed with software developer Chaotic Moon Studios to offer a concept video that imagines what on-table, touchscreen ordering might look like. In a process that negates the need for a flesh-and-blood waiter, the flat-top "menu" basically allows guests to customize their pizzas by swiping the screen, dragging toppings onto the pie, and touching add-on sides (there are also games to play "while you wait"). The concept also can sync with a guest's smartphone, allowing them to pay directly via their phones from a pre-entered credit or debit card. Go, watch the thing in action:
