Hillary Dixler Canavan is Eater's restaurant editor and the author of the publication's debut book, Eater: 100 Essential Restaurant Recipes From the Authority on Where to Eat and Why It Matters (Abrams, September 2023). Her work focuses on dining trends and the people changing the industry — and scouting the next hot restaurant you need to try on Eater's annual Best New Restaurant list.

It looks like chef Thomas Keller might be adding another New York City restaurant to his eponymous restaurant group's portfolio. Keller tells Vegas Seven that he is currently "considering opening another New York City restaurant" and that it would be a part of "an historic project." Keller already has a presence in New York City. His three michelin-starred Per Se recently celebrated its tenth anniversary (and also ran into some trouble with the DOH), while Keller's Bouchon Bakery recently introduced dinner service. Eater is reaching out to Keller's reps; more details as they become available.
