Here's Eater restaurant critic/data lead Ryan Sutton talking with WNYC News radio on why there aren't more women in the highest chef positions, an issue he investigated earlier this month. Sutton says restaurateurs "couldn't necessarily give [him] a straight answer" as to why there aren't more women at the top of their kitchens and says wanting to have a family/having a family is often cited anecdotally.
