There have been crazy Bloody Marys in the past, but this one possibly out-crazies them all. According to Eater Vancouver, the $60 (US $53) Checkmate at sports bar Score on Davie is garnished with (drumroll please): a full roast chicken, Score burger, slider, chicken wings, onion rings, pulled pork mac and cheese hot dog and a brownie. For dessert, obviously. It takes 20 minutes to prepare, is intended for two people, and is not served during typical brunch hours on Saturday and Sunday. It's also technically a Caesar, a Canadian riff on the Bloody Mary that is flavored with Clamato.
Score owner Jesse Ritchie tells Eater Vancouver: "It seems hard to balance but it's actually pretty easy, we just use a few skewers and some techniques we've picked up with the heaped-high Caesars we already sell." Score on Davie is known for its Caesars and previous concoctions have been topped with deep fried pickles, grilled cheese sandwiches, onion rings, hot wings, eggs, bacon, sausage, pierogies, chorizo, and more. But they were never all on one cocktail, until now.
