Holy line batman! One of the longest I've seen. Friday is a popular day for meat it seems. #bbq #atx pic.twitter.com/GaCVxtoqDn

The line to get into Austin's acclaimed Franklin Barbecue is notoriously lengthy, and now to chronicle it is a dedicated Twitter account: @FranklinBBQline. Eater Austin points out that the Twitter account features pictures that appear to have been taken from a nearby apartment building. @FranklinBBQline has been tracking the line since January, seeing things like surprise street bands, entrepreneurial Girl Scout cookie vendors, and people waiting in the rain all to get some of the buzzy barbecue. @FranklinBBQline even offers practical line-waiting advice like this: "Sunday is super busy. You're going to be waiting in line for 3+ hours no matter how you look at it. Get there no later than 8AM."
