The New York City Department of Health announced a revamp in its restaurant inspection rules, with plans to inspect restaurants more frequently but reduce the fines associated with violations. The Wall Street Journal reports fines will drop by 25 percent, returning them to the levels restaurateurs enjoyed "before the city required the posting of letter grades in restaurant windows." [WSJ]
