Eater co-founder Ben Leventhal talks to a handful of characters who helped create pizza hype in the early aughts. Peter Meehan (Lucky Peach; formerly NYT), Adam Kuban (Slice), Dave Arnold (FCI), and Adam Platt (New York) all weigh in, but the final word goes to former New York Times restaurant critic Frank Bruni: "Pizza frothiness followed burger frothiness and has now given way to ramen frothiness...
