Beloved New Haven pizza chain Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana, which opened its first location in 1925 and has since grown into an eight-unit operation in Connecticut and Yonkers, New York, plans to open multiple "locations in Boston," reports Eater Boston. Per a Craigslist post that went up yesterday, the chain is now hiring management. One of New Haven's original pizza shops, Pepe's coal-fired pies are a source of rivalry between fans of other popular New Haven pizzerias. The chain's new Boston addresses have not yet been confirmed, and opening dates have not been set.
