The Chicago home of the late chef Charlie Trotter sold last week for $2.475 million. The Chicago Tribune reports the five-bedroom mini-mansion, which Trotter shared with his wife Rochelle Smith Trotter, was within walking distance of the chef's celebrated restaurant, which closed in 2012. Trotter's widow has announced plans to open a library and school in her late husband's honor. [Tribune]
