After announcing last year that we would open a massive Las Vegas restaurant, Flavortown bus driver Guy Fieri has finally given the upcoming restaurant a name: Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar. If the name sounds at all familiar, it's because it's basically the same name as Fieri's critically reviled Times Square restaurant, Guy's American Kitchen & Bar.
According to the Las Vegas Sun the two-level, 10,000-square-foot restaurant space will have an outdoor patio, a 185-seat dining room, plus a bar design scheme featuring memorabilia from Fieri's days at UNLV and Fieri's tattoos. The bar will feature 16 craft beers and four wines on draft, plus a frozen tap that can dispense eight shots at a time. Menu items like Guy's Vegas Fries "tossed in buffalo seasoning and wing sauce" and Guy's Fireball Wings "tossed in buffalo-style sauce and spiked with a blast of Fireball Whiskey" speak to Fieri's goal of offering "funky food with bold flavors." The restaurant is slated to open at The Quad (owned by Caesar's), but there's still no word on when.
