Watch Jimmy Kimmel Go on a Barbecue Tour of Austin

New, 1 comment

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, host Jimmy Kimmel and parking lot security guard/show correspondent Guillermo Rodriguez headed to four top Austin barbecue spots to determine which is the best. They hit up Franklin Barbecue, where they sneak in through the back, getting to skip the always-massive line. They eat barbecue with Aaron Franklin, who says: "Jimmy really I think would be crazy to not pick me. He likes barbecue, I like barbecue. Match made in heaven."

Next the duo heads to the new hotness that is Micklethwait Craft Meats, and then to John Mueller Meat Co. Pitmaster John Mueller serves the guys two massive trays of barbecue and adds to the camera: "I really don't care if Jimmy picks me or not, because I'm pretty dangerous and he knows what will happen if he doesn't." Guillermo and Kimmel end their tour at La Barbecue, before making their final decision. Unable to decide, Kimmel gets down on one knee and offers a rib to each pitmaster. Go, watch:
