Here's Pick a Pickle, a short and sweet collection of 50 pickled (and otherwise fermented) recipes from Georgia chef Hugh Acheson. The booklet contains both traditional recipes (bread 'n butter pickles, chow-chow) as well as more creative ones (IPA vinegar). The book's simplicity of concept is a major draw, although actual use may be impeded by the awkward cover arrangement. Still, if you're looking for an easy pickling reference, this could be a great option.

Photography is by Rinne Allen, who also shot for Acheson's first cookbook. Pick a Pickle is out March 25 from Potter Style (buy on Amazon); take a look inside, below.
