Chef Mario Batali is set to star in a new video series to be called Feedback Kitchen. The web series will be produced by and will air on the French video sharing service Dailymotion, reports the Wall Street Journal. According to the Wrap, Feedback Kitchen has filmed five episodes. In each 22-minute episode, Batali interviews a famous musician, cooks a dish inspired by them, and then the musician performs. Participating musicians include the Edge, Patti Smith, Josh Groban, Flea, and Perry and Etty Farrell. Dailymotion's managing director explained the theme of the show as Batali "explor[ing] creativity through the lens of cooking."

Per Videoink, the series is set to premier sometime this Spring. The show apparently "caters to two of the site's most popular search terms—music and food." Feedback Kitchen is Dailymotion's first original program, though the company is planning more, with an eye towards competing with other online video services like YouTube, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Prime.
