Hillary Dixler Canavan is Eater's restaurant editor and the author of the publication's debut book, Eater: 100 Essential Restaurant Recipes From the Authority on Where to Eat and Why It Matters (Abrams, September 2023). Her work focuses on dining trends and the people changing the industry — and scouting the next hot restaurant you need to try on Eater's annual Best New Restaurant list.

Here's another fantastic preview from the upcoming fourth season of Portlandia, which premieres on February 27. The 11-minute video below finds actor Steve Buscemi playing an unlucky celery salesman named Marty who must fight for his job at Produce Sales Headquarters, a black ops organization responsible for making vegetables trendy. Although it's been a good year ("Heirloom tomatoes: Didn't even exist five years ago, now eaten like steak. Kale consumption is at an all time high ... and brussels sprouts are back"), Marty just can't come up with a fresh idea to boost his numbers.

He wants to do "a whole viral celery phenomenon," but in his desperation ends up turning to the extremely sketchy bacon man for help. Things go from bad to worse when Marty agrees to wear a wire to help the FBI "bring bacon down" but ends up as a pawn for corn. If it all sounds like a convoluted John Grisham novel there's a reason. Go, watch:
