Her work focuses on dining trends and the people changing the industry — and scouting the next hot restaurant you need to try on Eater's annual Best New Restaurant list.

Acclaimed Peruvian chef and international restaurateur Gastón Acurio is almost ready to open the doors to his blockbuster new restaurant Astrid&Gastón Casa Moreyra in Lima, Peru: Fine Dining Lovers reports that the grand opening will be on February 16th. Last year Acurio announced his plan to move and rebrand his 20 year old Lima restaurant Astrid y Gastón (ranked #1 in Latin America and #14 in the world).

The new Astrid&Gastón Casa Moreyra is a massive complex, featuring "a main dining hall, private dining areas and a 60-seat gastro bar." The grounds will also be home to multiple gardens, including one dedicated to "experimental" growing. Apparently the renovation of the historic building cost some $2 million and VIP chefs like Ferran Adrià, Andoni Luis Aduriz, and Joan Roca are all expected to attend the grand opening next week.
