America is the land of the free, the home of the brave, and now a country with two cat cafes. If that doesn't make it a super power, who knows what will. According to Wink News, a cat cafe opened last week in Naples, Florida. Called Planet Tails, it features free WiFi, coffee, food, and of course many, many cats.

Owner Ericka Basile tells the new station that the cafe "[is] like Cheers. Instead of beer we have pets and you belong here when you come in." In the cafe, guests can play with adoptable cats from Collier County Domestic Animal Services.

Planet Tails also offers retail products — including a type of beer for dogs and animal-themed nail stickers, aquariums, pet boarding and daycare, and a pet educational center alongside the cat cafe.

America's first cat cafe opened last month in the Bay Area. Meow Parlour opens in New York City this month, and cat cafes are expected to hit Washington, D.C.Los AngelesPortland, and more cities across the country next year. North America's first-ever cat cafe, Le Café des Chats, opened in Montreal this past August.
