A restaurateur in Florida shot a 13-foot-long wild alligator with a crossbow, and the massive, 719-pound crocodilian will now literally be on the menu. The Daily Mail reports Clark Woodsby, an operating partner of the Talk of the Town restaurant group, will take the meat from the giant alligator, which was caught and killed at a private residence, and serve it at his restaurants. The menu for Charley's Steakhouse, for example, includes a "Florida Gator" appetizer featuring 1/3 pounds of deep-fried, citrus-marinated gator — which means his backyard catch is worth a whopping 2,000 portions.
