Space Tea Apparently Tastes Like the Milky Way

A new tea blend offers a taste of the universe.

Skittles let you "taste the rainbow," and now a new tea promises drinkers a taste of the universe. Space Tea is blended in Japan and contains notes of "raspberries and rum," according to Inventor Spot. But what makes it taste of space? A chemical called ethyl formate, which is a sweet odor that astronauts smell when they reach the International Space Station. So brew up a cup of space — it may be the closest you'll get to an intergalactic experience.
