Dinner Lab Expands to Boston; dineLA Unleashes Restaurant List

BOSTON— The New Orleans-based, members-only supper club Dinner Lab is heading to Boston: According to the Boston Globe, the pop-up will host its first Boston-area event on February 20. As in other cities, Dinner Lab's location and participating chefs are left secret until 24 hours before the event. Earlier this month, Dinner Lab announced it would crowdsource an additional $2 million in funds from its members to help launch expansion plans and implement "technology upgrades." [Globe]

LOS ANGELES— LA's ostensibly two-week-long "Restaurant Week" has announced its dates and participating restaurants for 2015: dineLA Winter Restaurant Week is scheduled for January 19 to February 1, 2015, with more than 300 establishments currently on its list. According to Eater LA, dinner prices have increased this year — ranging from $30 to $50 for a prix fixe menu — although lunch prices remain the same. NEW YORK CITY— Eater NY has an inside look at Sun Noodle's hotly anticipated noodle bar, Ramen Lab, which is in its "early tastings" phase despite not having electricity. One open to the public, the counter will host just 10 diners at one time. [ENY]
