Plus, a new beer recommendation app.

NATIONAL — That hungover New Year's brunch just got so much better. Famed cult New York City bagel shop Black Seed Bagels is shipping their product nationwide for a limited time. Interested parties can order two dozen bagels — in flavors like plain, poppy, sesame, salt, everything, and multigrain — between December 22 and December 30. All orders placed by 6 a.m. will ship overnight for delivery the next day. The hand-rolled bagels are $36 plus shipping and can be ordered via FoodyDirect. [EaterWire]

COOKIES — The brave souls over at the Verge taste tested 18 Oreo flavors (with plenty of milk of course) so that no one else has to. The flavor list included everything from the classic chocolate and vanilla cream cookie to kooky flavors like pumpkin spice, root beer float, and watermelon. The winner? A flavor that is salty and sweet and totally hard to put down. [Verge]

APPS — There's a new recommendation app for beer lovers. Confused about what beer to order at a restaurant? New recommendation app Picky Pint wants to help. Simply take a photo of the restaurant's beer list and the app will find ratings, style, bitterness, and other information about each brew option. Picky Pint can also scan barcodes to retrieve ratings and information about that beer you found deep in your friend's fridge. [EaterWire]
