Ski season is officially in full swing and Curbed Ski has a guide to all the best food and drink in Telluride. Recently the town has "grown-up" in a culinary sense: No longer does the PBR Tallboy reign supreme. Instead, Telluride now offers a "fledgling mixology scene" with high-end cocktails and plenty of cafes and restaurants dishing up local and seasonal fare. Plus, there's surprisingly good barbecue at Oak and cheap-but-tasty Thai food at Siam. Author Laurel Miller is also a fan of the classic French fair and "attitude-free bartenders" at La Marmotte and the ham-and-cheese croissants and "gooey" cookies at The Butcher & The Baker. Sounds like perfect pre- and post-slope fuel.
