The 2015 Michelin Guide to Germany has been announced. This year, three new restaurants received a two star rating: Brenners Park Restaurant, EssZimmer, and Ammolite - The Lighthouse restaurant. Impressively, 31 restaurants received a one star rating, which according to Fine Dining Lovers, takes the country's one star total "to the highest it has ever been." As for the country's 11 three-starred restaurants — including Aqua and La Belle Epoque — all of them managed to retain their ranking.
Elizabeth on Food notes that in total, the 2015 Germany guide features 233 one-star restaurants, 38 two-star restaurants, 11 three-star restaurants, and 474 Bib Gourmands. The guide comes out November 7. See the full list of winners below:
