Chicago-based Reyes Beverage Group is officially the largest beer distributor in AmericaAccording to Crain's Chicago, Reyes Beverage Group just acquired Gold Coast Beverage Distributors — the largest beer distributor in Florida — which means the group is now larger than Anheuser-Busch InBev.

Gold Coast distributes nearly 27 million cases of beer annually just in South Florida and its brands include big names like MillerCoors, Heineken USA, and Sierra Nevada Brewing. Together the two companies sell more than 150 million cases of beer annually.

Beer Business Daily notes that in 2013 InBev Anheuser-Busch distributed around 135 million cases. Though it may no longer sit atop of the beer distributor throne stateside, InBev Anheuser-Busch is doing pretty well for itself worldwide: The company controls over 21 percent of the global beer market share."
