Make cocktails without measuring anything.

Magnified Self

Food and beverage technology company Magnified Self is looking to shake up the cocktail shaker as the world knows it. The company has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for B4RM4N, a smart shaker and app designed to "help everyone mix the perfect cocktail every time."

To make a drink, all users have to do is place the sleek shaker on a flat surface, launch the app, and connect the two via bluetooth. Once connected, users can pick a recipe and the shaker will show them step-by-step how to make the drink of their choosing. The shaker features an LED bar that lights up to show users that they are done pouring an ingredient; there's no measuring involved. Once the ingredients are in the shaker — which can hold enough for three drinks at a time — the app will tell the user to shake or stir drink depending on what cocktail they chose.

The app contains over 110 recipes for drinks like mojitos and martinis and users can also upload their own recipes. Magnified Self has raised just under $35,000 of their $100,000 goal and there are 30 days remaining in the campaign. Donate $1,599 or more and you can receive a Gold Plated B4RM4N shaker to help you become an extra "shiny cocktail hero." Now, who doesn't want that? Check out a video about the shaker below:
