Starbucks Unleashes Red Cups for Holiday 2014

There's also a new holiday drink to try: the Chestnut Praline Latte.

Starbucks/Facebook

Every year, Starbucks releases its holiday cups around the first of November and this year is no different. Social media is abuzz with news of the new red cup's look for 2014: a graphically flat design with oversized darker red starbursts behind the signature Starbucks logo.

Often heralded as the unofficial start to the holiday season, the emergence of Starbucks' red cups also signals the launch of the chain's holiday drink menu. In addition to the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Starbucks fans can now order Gingerbread Lattes (not available nationwide), Peppermint Mochas, and the brand new Chestnut Praline Latte.
