Michael White's Newest Opening; Michelin's Bib Gourmand Benelux

NEW YORK— Chef Michael White (of the multi-concept Altamarea Group) has swung the doors open at his newest restaurant, inside a Westchester Country bed-and-breakfast owned by actor Richard Gere. Eater NY reports Campagna is now open at the Bedford Inn, with chef Devin Bozkaya, formerly of Virginia's Inn at Little Washington, running day-to-day operations. EUROPE— Michelin has released its 2015 Bib Gourmand guide for Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxemborg), identifying a whopping 285 "superior restaurants that offer excellent value for money" in the region. Belgium has the most recipients in the guide, with 160 Bib Gourmands, with the Netherlands following at 115. Luxemborg currently has 10 restaurants on the list. [EaterWire]

SAN FRANCISCO— Bon Appetit's latest installment of its ongoing Grub Crawl series is set for San Francisco this Saturday, November 8. Two separate food crawls are slated for the day: An afternoon event in Hayes Valley highlights stops at at Boxing Room and Nojo, while an evening crawl through the Mission District and SoMa includes stops at Craftsman and Wolves and St. Vincent.
