Michelin Announces 2015 Stars for Switzerland

There are 18 new one-star restaurants.

The Michelin train keeps on chugging along: The 2015 Michelin Guide to Switzerland has been announced. While there are no new two-star or three-star restaurants this year, there are many new one-star restaurants. This year, 18 restaurants — including Le Quatre Saisons in Basel and Maison Manesse in Zurich — gained their first star. Unfortunately, 11 restaurants lost a star.

Overall, Switzerland has two three-star restaurants and 19 two-star restaurants, including chef Anne-Sophie Pic's Restaurant Anne-Sophie Pic in Lausanne. These are the same numbers as last year. However, last year Switzerland only had 89 one-star restaurants, while this year, the country has 96. Below, the full list:
