Watch an Exclusive Preview of Travel Channel's Booze Traveler

Host Jack Maxwell tries alcohol-infused custard, Turkish microbrews, and poppy-infused cocktails.

Here's a first peek at Travel Channel's newest show, Booze Traveler. In the first episode, host Jack Maxwell visits Turkey and discovers that the primarily Muslim country manages to drink quite a bit. Maxwell tries Raki, Turkey's national drink, and then hits a bar to try Booza, an alcohol-infused custard that looks like eggnog.

According to a release, the Turkish government makes it all but impossible for local breweries to obtain basic supplies, but one brew master, "who cannot advertise its alcohol or use social media" challenges regulations with word-of-mouth advertising. After a visit to a local winery, Maxwell ends the episode with a taste of poppy-infused cocktails. Check out the clip, above.
