Watch a Coffee Pro's Exploration of Seoul's Bustling Coffee Scene

It includes puppy cafes!

Here's a video following the team behind The Pancake Epidemic — a creative agency based in Los Angeles — as they open their "first consumer-facing cafe" in Seoul, Korea. The Pancake Epidemic Cafe will be the first place in Korea to serve coffee from popular Portland-based roaster Stumptown. The short film follows the team not only as they build out the cafe, but as they take a look at Seoul's bustling coffee culture by checking out local roasters, chains, and cafes. The team explores everything from a coffee shop made out of a seven-story stack of shipping containers to Seoul coffee scene's "weird side," which includes not only cat cafes but puppy cafes, too.
